Item 1.) I am back from my vacation and had a wonderful time. Not only did I hopelessly lose money at the penny-slots, but I got to see some freaking awesome Cirque du Soleil shows.
Item 2.) I got to see my second sister get married. In all actuality, I performed the marriage in accordance with Washington State Law.
Item 3.) I have tickets to see Dane Cook on November 28th.
Item 4.) I saw “9″ yesterday. And I liked it.
What a lovely trip to Seattle. I have pictures (they’ll be up when I feel up to it)!
I had tickets to see Miss Saigon in the 5th Ave. Theater pined to my wall for quite some time before I actually found someone to take. I’ll rephrase that, before I actually made an effort to find someone to take me.
Cory lovingly took that role. We had a nice car ride there, a nice visit with Rose along with a nice visit to Borders where I bought (gasp) another book and a lovely Bible. Dinner at a make your own burrito place, and then went to see the show.
The show was good, despite the scandalous scenes and the depressing ending.
Then I drove home. That was the first time I’ve driven in Seattle before (I didn’t feel the need to let Cory know that at the time). I’d say I did rather well… but then again, I wasn’t in the passenger seat.
My internet hasn’t been working very well, and although aggravating, it’s allowed me time to do other things. Like READ! So that’s why I haven’t been bloging recently.
The book I bought at Borders was a recommendation from Will, which might I add is AWESOME! “The Pirates! In an adventure with Scientists” It saddens me, though, how short it is. I finished it in a day. But very much worth my brief moment of time to read. It reminds me of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy… set on the high seas instead of space.
There is some language, and a lot of morbid humor, but I love it for that reason.
That’s about it.
Sorry, I’ve been out of it…
Actually, I’m doing pretty well, considering. Things are good.
Incomplete sentences will be this blog.
The kids at the preschool have begun to find out that I’m leaving soon. They’re already saying they will miss me and they don’t want me to leave.
If that isn’t a blow to the stomach, I’m not sure what is.
On another note, play auditions are this Thursday, it’ll be fun. Speaking of P.A.C. Mrs. Y offered to have lunch with me sometime over spring break. I think that’s cool. Ever since that long talk we had on the car ride home from Moses during Fiddler, things have become interesting between me and her.
For one, we no longer have a student/teacher relationship. And it’s not because I’ve graduated, I think that I still have student/teacher relationships with former teachers because that is what they are to me. But now it’s a friendship between two adults. I just think that’s cool.
Same thing with Aaron. He graduated a year before I got into high school, so I knew him, but I never knew him. And now that he’s working at the P.A.C. I’ve gotten to know him more, and I’ve found out we are very much alike… it’s almost scary. He’s like a long lost brother… weird.
Aaaand I’m done.
